Philippine Fashion Week SS 2012: Jerome Salaya Ang

The unusual opening to that Sunday night’s PFW show: men in tribal tangerine and armed with percussion, walking barefoot onto the runway. And before everyone thought they were the models, they began to hit their drums, signaling the awaited entrance of the ladies in dresses ramping to the beat.

His collection in seven words: structured silhouettes and an abundance of sequins!

My favorite!

Philippine Fashion Week SS 2012: Guess

Thank you so much to my dear Elisa Aquino and Ed of Connect Agency for inviting me! It was so exciting! :)

Working my camera was a bit of a challenge though because its automatic focus stopped functioning since the end of last year. It’s been all manual ever since. Haha. And it requires a whole lot of patience! I’m still praying for a new Canon and a buyer for my current Nikon. :))

Also posting some photos from the PFW shows of Jerome Salaya Ang, Noel Crisostomo and the amazing Sassa Jimenez soon! :)

How I usually look on campus. Only a couple of months left to dress however I want (before complying with DLSU’s dress code again). NUS changed the way I dress in some way. The students are so laidback: slippers, shorts, hoodies. The campus is huge too, so I have to wear comfortable shoes. Another factor is the weather here. One minute it’s scorching. The next, it’s pouring. I miss dressing up.
ETA: hoodie, Forever 21.
